Why all the fuss in the Jewish community?

Rosh Hashanah in a Nutshell

The festival of Rosh Hashanah–the name means “Head of the Year”–is observed for two days beginning on Tishrei 1, the first day of the Jewish year. It is the anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, and their first actions toward the realization of mankind’s role in G‑d’s world.

Rosh Hashanah thus emphasizes the special relationship between G‑d and humanity: our dependence upon G‑d as our creator and sustainer, and G‑d’s dependence upon us as the ones who make His presence known and felt in His world. Each year on Rosh Hashanah, “all inhabitants of the world pass before G‑d like a flock of sheep,” and it is decreed in the heavenly court, “who shall live, and who shall die… who shall be impoverished, and who shall be enriched; who shall fall and who shall rise.” But this is also the day we proclaim G‑d King of the Universe.

The central observance of Rosh Hashanah is the sounding of the shofar, the ram’s horn, which also represents the trumpet blast of a people’s coronation of their king. The cry of the shofar is also a call to repentance; for Rosh Hashanah is also the anniversary of man’s first sin and his repentance thereof, and serves as the first of the “Ten Days of Repentance” which culminate in Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. Altogether, we listen to 100 shofar blasts over the course of the Rosh Hashanah service.

Additional Rosh Hashanah observances include: a) Eating a piece of apple dipped in honey to symbolize our desire for a sweet year, and other special foods symbolic of the new year’s blessings. b) Blessing one another with the words Leshanah tovah tikateiv veteichateim, “May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year.” c) Tashlich, a special prayer said near a body of water (an ocean, river, pond, etc.) in evocation of the verse, “And You shall cast their sins into the depths of the sea.” And as with every major Jewish holiday, after candlelighting and prayers we recite Kiddush and make a blessing on the Challah.

As believers in Messiah, we are covered by the blood of G-d’s most Holy Son, Yeshua (Jesus).  Our salvation remains forever through His sacrifice on the cross.  New covenant Faith is based upon the “Feasts of the L-rd” in Leviticus chapter 23 and we are reminded of it in Col. 2:16, 17Col 2:16    So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.,

They STILL testify of Messiah…He fulfills them all!   Yet, we are commanded in Leviticus to observe these Feasts of the L-rd, they are intended as times “appointed by G-d” , times we are to set aside to spend with Him.

These last three Feasts of Adonai begin this Wednesday at sundown, Rosh Hashanah, September 28th, followed by Yom Kippur on October 7th at sundown and Sukkot on October 7th at sundown.

These Feasts are relevant now and should be observed by the Church.

The apostle Paul tells us to “Keep the Traditions” 1Cr 11:1,2    Imitate me, just as I also [imitate] Christ. Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered [them] to you.

Rosh Hashanah points to Salvation

Yom Kippur points to Sanctification

Sukkot points to glorification

These three final feasts prepare us for Yeshua’s glorious return! (Let the Shofar Sound!)

There are so MANY pictures of Messiah in the feasts, just to many to point out in one email

I encourage you to Honor these appointed times of the L-rd.  If you have an interest in learning more in detail about all the Feasts of Adonai and how they paint a beautiful picture of Salvation pointing to Messiah,  please contact me by email.

L’Shanah Tovah Umetukah (Have a good and sweet year!)

May the L-rd grant you the desire of your heart, and may the desire of your heart be to learn of Him!

IN Yesuha (Jesus)

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson
“The Lubavitcher Rebbe King Messiah may he live forever”

*Note: The above proclamation was underneath the picture and found on http://www.kingmessiah.com/sitemap.html.

Did you know who this man is?

For those of you who have never heard of Lubavitcher Rebbe Sheerson, I have included a bit of what Wikipedia says about him.

Menachem Mendel Schneerson
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For the third Rebbe of the Chabad Lubavitch dynasty see Menachem Mendel Schneersohn

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson (April 5, 1902 OS – June 12, 1994 NS), known as the Lubavitcher Rebbe or just the Rebbe among his Hasidim, [1] was a prominent Hasidic rabbi who was the seventh and most recent Rebbe (Hasidic leader) of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement. He was fifth in a direct paternal line to the third Chabad-Lubavitch Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson. In 1951, a year after the death of his father-in-law, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Schneerson, he assumed the leadership of the Lubavitch movement. He led the movement until his death in 1994, greatly expanding its worldwide activities and founding a worldwide network of institutions to spread Orthodox Judaism among the Jewish people. [2] These institutions include schools, kindergartens, synagogues, Chabad houses, and others, and are run under the auspices of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, the educational branch of the Chabad movment. His focus on messianism was controversial and remains polarizing within Orthodox Judaism. During his lifetime and even after his death, a portion of his followers have considered him to be the Jewish Messiah, and Chabad Messianists await his return as the Messiah.

Lately, I have read many articles claiming that the late Rebbe Schneerson is the Messiah. There have been major campaigns declaring so on the Internet and in print. I wrote the article below and posted it in response to that claim, not to diminish his character in any way, but to shed scriptural light to this gross application of divine attribution. My intention is to point the reader to the “Truth” of just who the Messiah really is. There are so many scriptures to apply to the true Messiah and His fulfillment of them, yet only a few are mentioned below. For questions about the others and their scriptural fulfillment of them, please feel free to email your questions to either of the following email addresses below:

We will do our best to respond in a timely manner with one promise, and that is to give you scripture not our opinion. Please read my article below as posted in a response, to a response from an article on a blog from a group that claims their sole purpose is to combat belief in Yeshua (Hebrew Name for Jesus).

Help For Today, Hope For Tomorrow – The Lubavitcher Rebbe the Messiah-I Don’t Think So

I realize the significance of the contributions of Rebbe Schneerson to the Jewish community as a great man, as I am Jewish.   In light of the following scriptures it is very evident that Moshiach must be known, loved and followed by the Goyim.  So I will elaborate the following:

1. I have asked many Jewish people if they know who “Jesus” (Yeshua) is, the answer may not have always concluded their belief in Him as Messiah, however I have never met a Jew who did not know of Him.

2. When I have asked Goyim (gentiles) the world over if they knew who Jesus is, the answer may not have always concluded their belief in Him as Messiah, yet EVERYONE answered that they know of him either as The Messiah or the One that was purported to be Messiah.

3. When I have asked Jewish people if they knew who the “Rebbe Scheerson” was, some did some did not.

4. When I have asked Goyim (gentiles) who “Rebbe Scheerson” was over the past 4 years, only 2 gentiles out of thousands knew who he was.

I challenge any who read this to do the same.  You will see for yourself.

Although there are hundreds of scriptures that have been fulfilled by Yeshua concerning all that Messiah would do and exemplify, I cannot think of one that Rebbe Scheerson has fulfilled and can claim the title of Melech HaMoshiach from.

Isaiah 61:1
“Arise, shine [Yerushalayim], for your light has come, the glory of ADONAI has risen over you. 2 For although darkness covers the earth and thick darkness the peoples; on you ADONAI will rise; over you will be seen his glory. 3 Nations will go toward your light and kings toward your shining splendor. 4 Raise your eyes and look around: they are all assembling and coming to you; your sons are coming from far off, your daughters being carried on their nurses’ hips. 5 Then you will see and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with delight; for the riches of the seas will be brought to you, the wealth of nations will come to you. CJB

Isaiah 49:6
“he has said, “It is not enough that you are merely my servant to raise up the tribes of Ya’akov and restore the offspring of Isra’el. I will also make you a light to the nations, so my salvation can spread to the ends of the earth.” CJB

Isaiah 11:10
On that day the root of Yishai, which stands as a banner for the peoples – the Goyim will seek him out, and the place where he rests will be glorious. CJB

Isaiah 11:12
He will hoist a banner for the Goyim, assemble the dispersed of Isra’el, and gather the scattered of Y’hudah from the four corners of the earth. CJB

Isaiah 42:1
“Here is my servant, whom I support, my chosen one, in whom I take pleasure. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice to the Goyim. CJB

John 8:12
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. KJV

Act 26:23 Christ should suffer, [and] that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles. KJV

Oh! one more (and the fulfillment of it) that will help in your search for Messiah as it was a historical fact that took place on the Feast of Shavout almost 2000 years ago.  This can definitely not be said of Rebbe Scheerson who’s body is decayed in the grave as I write this.

Psalm 16:10
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. KJV

Acts 2:16-39
16 No, this is what was spoken about through the prophet Yo’el: 17 ‘ADONAI says: “In the Last Days, I will pour out from my Spirit upon everyone. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18 Even on my slaves, both men and women, will I pour out from my Spirit in those days; and they will prophesy. 19 I will perform miracles in the sky above and signs on the earth below blood, fire and thick smoke. 20 The sun will become dark and the moon blood before the great and fearful Day of ADONAI comes. 21 And then, whoever calls on the name of ADONAI will be saved”.’ 22 “Men of Isra’el! Listen to this! Yeshua from Natzeret was a man demonstrated to you to have been from God by the powerful works, miracles and signs that God performed through him in your presence. You yourselves know this. 23 This man was arrested in accordance with God’s predetermined plan and foreknowledge; and, through the agency of persons not bound by the Torah, you nailed him up on a stake and killed him! 24 “But God has raised him up and freed him from the suffering of death; it was impossible that death could keep its hold on him. 25 For David says this about him: ‘I saw ADONAI always before me, for he is at my right hand, so that I will not be shaken. 26 For this reason, my heart was glad; and my tongue rejoiced; and now my body too will live on in the certain hope 27 that you will not abandon me to Sh’ol or let your Holy One see decay. 28 You have made known to me the ways of life; you will fill me with joy by your presence.’ 29 “Brothers, I know I can say to you frankly that the patriarch David died and was buried – his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, since he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn an oath to him that one of his descendants would sit on his throne, 31 he was speaking in advance about the resurrection of the Messiah, that it was he who was not abandoned in Sh’ol and whose flesh did not see decay. 32 God raised up this Yeshua! And we are all witnesses of it! 33 “Moreover, he has been exalted to the right hand of God; has received from the Father what he promised, namely, the Ruach HaKodesh; and has poured out this gift, which you are both seeing and hearing. 34 For David did not ascend into heaven. But he says, 35 ‘ADONAI said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”.’ 36 Therefore, let the whole house of Isra’el know beyond doubt that God has made him both Lord and Messiah – this Yeshua, whom you executed on a stake!” 37 On hearing this, they were stung in their hearts; and they said to Kefa and the other emissaries, “Brothers, what should we do?” 38 Kefa answered them, “Turn from sin, return to God, and each of you be immersed on the authority of Yeshua the Messiah into forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh! 39 For the promise is for you, for your children, and for those far away – as many as ADONAI our God may call!”

In addendum, Acts 2:42, Three thousand Jewish people were added on that day.

Yeshua is still reaching the uttermost parts of the earth today. Millions upon Millions call Him Messiah, there can be NO other!  Yeshua, is the ONLY way to the Father G-d.  The evidence is there, may the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) remove the scales from your eyes as he did the Rabbi Sha’ul’s (Apostle Paul), mine and the millions of others history past and present.
May you call on Yeshua Now to be your Messiah!
May Melech Yeshua HaMoshiach Ben Elohim (King Jesus the Messiah Son of G-d), become Lord of your Life!

Say this simple prayer to make your commitment to Yeshua now!

Yeshua (Jesus) I believe you are the Messiah sent by G-d as the final sacrifice for my sins.  I believe you arose from the dead, so I could have everlasting life.  I call on you now Yeshua, come into my heart and life, forgive me of all my sins.  I now call you my Savior and King.  Thank you!

If you prayed the prayer above, please email us and let us know so we can pray for you and send you some information to help you walk in the b’rachot (blessings) of G-d.

Baruch Hashem,

Rabbi Cliff Maynard

kithcartLt. Col. Rev. David Kithcart, has gone Home. He went to his reward on May 13th, 2010.

He was one of the most powerful servants of Yeshua I have ever had the honor of knowing. His life and ministry touched the lives of thousands around the world.

He was a real Apostle whose life reflected the Power of the Word of G-d. His ministry was filled with Adonai’s presence, marked by signs and wonders and souls.

I met him as a young man of eighteen years old, and his prophetic voice from the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) profoundly touched my life. It was through him on occasion that I heard a Word from G-d that directed my path. I was honored to have known him and to have been poured into through his ministry. As I grew older, and trained up ministers of the Gospel myself, Rev. Kithcart came on many occasions and poured into my student’s lives as well. I could write a book on the many stories I have from my times in his tutelage. His deep commanding voice still rings in my ears, his strength and power coming from his obedience and trust in Adonai, his wisdom and counsel emanating from the Word of G-d and a life lived in sacrifice and obedience to the L-rd.

You will be missed my friend and mentor, but I am glad you are finally home.

We are sharing some great images from our Peru Crusade. It was a time of Great anointing from the Ruach HaKodesh.

Over four thousand came the altar to ask Yeshua into their hearts and over 800 recorded miracles took place, before we stopped counting.
